Student Phones is the leading source for mobility products and services specifically for students. We have partnered with university and college student unions around the country to offer students the cheapest prices on cellular service.
We are looking for energetic, outgoing individuals to join our back-to-school launch team in September and October. Sales experience is important, but so is teamwork, leadership, and a passion for helping your fellow students find the best deal on a mobile phone.
We offer competitive wages and commissions. Successful applicants will receive extensive training, coaching, and support during their employment with our company.
Campus Representative, Full Time and Part Time
Term: 6-8 weeks, starting the first day of new student orientation (late August, early September, depending on the school)
Hours: Projected minimum of 20 hours/week (P/T); maximum of 44 hours (F/T)
Location: GTA, South West Ontario, Ottawa/Montreal and Vancouver
Job Description
A Student Phones Campus Representative is our ambassador on campus. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our discounted wireless products and accessories and saving your fellow students money. You will also be in charge of managing the display booth, looking after the stock of flyers, posters, displays etc. Campus Representatives also support our relationships with the Student Unions, campus organizations, student associations, and other campus groups to ensure all Canadian students are getting the best possible deals on wireless handsets and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
Be visible on campus to spread the word about Student Phones
Responsible for having complete understanding of all systems and products available in the store
Ensure that displays and appearance of the booth is attractive, reflects popular or new products and relates to specific events or promotions occurring at Student Phones
Assist management with on-campus marketing ideas
Build rapport with student clientele
Build relationships with campus organizations, student associations, and other campus groups
Qualifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to meet and exceed objectives
Motivated
Creative
A demonstrated team player
Ability to work in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
Computer literate
Previous sales experience an asset, but not required
Education
Minimum High School Diploma
Compensation
Competitive commission structure
