We want students who are actively involved on their campus. Our
College Reps are a diverse team of talented individuals, from marketing
majors and computer engineers, to presidents and members of student
organizations. Our only prerequisite is that you are highly motivated,
enthusiastic, and ready to put your creative ideas to good use. So, if you
use words like campus leader, outgoing, organized, creative, and self-
starter to describe yourself, then you need to read on.
What does a SMG College Rep do?
As a Rep, you will assist SMG in securing concerts and comedy shows for
your campus. You will be working closely with your Student Activities
Director and Campus Activities/Programming Board to secure well known
artists and comedians for the most entertaining shows produced.
In addition, you will assume a key role in our campus marketing and
advertising efforts. Since you know your campus the best, we expect you
to raise the awareness of the event by distributing flyers, posters, and
other promotional materials throughout the campus community. Also,
you may be involved with connecting with the campus radio station to
provide on-air exposure of the event.

Working with SMG will provide you with the opportunity to learn the
dynamics of the college entertainment industry. You'll gain valuable
experience developing and implementing your own marketing strategy
and advertising campaign while working as a team player. The
advantages of becoming a College Rep include the acquisition of free
tickets to our events, CD's, or other promotional items from the artist.
